I don't think I would stay here again for pleasure, but would definitely stay again for a meeting. The burger was not the best I've had, but the friendly, fast service made up for it. The girl who took my order was also who brought it to my room. I got in late after driving up from Detroit, so I ordered room service. Unlike other casino hotels, there was a in room coffee maker, which was very convenient. The decor is a nice woodsy, Indian theme, but there were some signs of wear apparent. During my one night stay, I directed several other guests to the exit doors, as it was clear they also had the same confusion. I walked past the exit doors to the parking lot more than once on the way out of my room, only to find them while wandering back toward my room due to the odd angles. The place it laid out in a series of spokes off a central hub, with doorways angled toward the central hub where the lobby and casino are located. Michigan has a public area smoking ban, but casino's are exempt, so it was quite a shock. Since early arrival for check in was recommended, we arrived at 5:30 for the 6:30 cruise. Took the 6 hour (extended) tour on New Year's Eve, complete with buffet dinner, NYE hats/crowns, DJ on deck 2, champagne toast at midnight and, of course, gambling for 75 each. Upon stepping foot in the door, I was hit by the smell of smoke. Nice New Year's Eve on the Big M, Boat 1. I stayed at the Little River Casino Resort for a business meeting taking place in the conference room there.
